I just ordered a refurbished PL-957 pelican pro switcher from them last week and it came today. However the product is defective and to return items Overstock charges a 15% restocking fee on top of what it'll cost me to ship it back -_-....... So i'm hoping they do exchanges maybe....... So I hit up thier chat support....
William S: Welcome to Overstock.com, Denny! How may I help you today?
ME: Hi, I ordered a PL-957
ME: and the product does not work properly
William S: ok
ME: is there any way I can exchange it without being charged a restocking fee?
William S: We do not do exchanges.
ME: ok
William S: Here's a nice sale item that you may be interested in, this will open a new
page on your web browser:
The agent is sending you to http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2...&cid=59420&FP=F.
William S: Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
ME: no thanks
And to add insult the bastards try to sell me something when giving me support........................
I've never shopping at overstock again -_-. I guess this problem might be void for Games and stuff since usually those arent defective as often. But man never buy a refurb item on overstock (not suprisingly most of thier inventory)
