My roomate says that with the Nintendo Revolution internet service, Nintendo will be putting games from NES - N64 up for people to download them onto the Revolution. This means that the Revolution is like a multi-system emulator. Is this true?

LOL. It sounds bad, but it almost seems like it. We are seeing so much more from sony and microsoft.
You probably need insider to download it, but here it is from IGN

in all honesty the press confernece left me with the feeling that the revolution isn't really ready to show off... I thinkk nintendo brought it so they could appease the public but i wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have a gpu or even a core proccessor...

Technically, the PS3 and 360 don't, either. All the tech demos and dev kits use G5s and other regular computer hardware that's "equivalent"
Anyway, the Revolution as it stands is slightly disappointing. But they haven't even revealed the controller, or the "revolution." Nintendo's got something up their sleeves. I just hope it's as good as they're making it out to be.

The first 10min of the conference all they were doing was boasting the DS and flaming the PSP. I wanted to bash their heads in.
The Only Reason why the DS is beating the PSP: Japanese gamers are weird.
Nintendogs is the #1 selling game in Japan and it's for DS. The entire game: You have a dog and do stuff with it. That's it. Why is this game so successful? Japanese gamers are weird. =P

I dunno. If I had the #1 selling game in Japan (a HUGE videogame market) and had more units sold than my competition, I'd flaunt it, too. You think Sony wouldn't have done the same thing?

Flaunting it is ok, but they literally FLAMED Sony like crazy. That anouncer guy was an ass.

Reggie? Reggie's hilarious. Don't talk shit about Reggie, or he'll TAKE YOUR NAME, boy.
Anyway, Nintendo talked shit at last year's conference. Read interviews with J Allard to hear him talk shit about the PS3. Everyone does it.
