I'm looking for a new ps2 fps and i was checking out AREA 51. It kinda reminds me of KILLZONE. Does anyone have or played this game? Let me know, is it fun?

From what I played it was all right, but I would suggest renting before you buy.

Well, i dont rent games anymore. But if it's suppose to be the next halo, then its gotta be better than KILLZONE. Dont get me wrong, KILLZONE is fun, but you get blasted waaay too easily. Halo promotes a bit of challege and skill.

Killzone showed sooooo much promise. It sucks that it isn't as good as it should be. It got so many things right, but got more important things wrong. It saddens me. And it also makes me really want a PS3 and Killzone 2, since it'll be Killzone on hardware that can handle it :P

I kno right. The one thing that always got me killed in KILLZONE was reloading. I hope AREA 51 reloads quicker and has a jump botton. I might just have to get it. I mean, it can't be worst.............right? ? ? ?

I rented it and beat it. The first part of the game is really fun and exciting but towards the end of the game, the levels and characters just get so cliche' and boring. Not that its not a pretty good game its just that it could have used some more imagination or something.... You could probably get all the fun out of it that you can with a rent.

The online does nothing spectacular either. It definitley not worth buying just for online play.
