This game, wow. This game was definitely worth the wait. Spending years in the making has turned out, just beautiful. Starting out in this game is partially boring, but it's like every other Zelda game, you have to get the first (crappy) weapons and learn how to use them, yet somehow this manages to fit into the story line, again, like every other Zelda game. I have not beaten the game yet, but so far I love it. The control scheme with the Wii-mote and Nun-chuck may be a bit awkward at first, but after about 30 minutes you forget you're even using them. After you get past the beginning control and weaponry explanations, the game takes an amazing turn, you're forced out into combat to save a few friends, from there the main plot of the game starts. It's not short after then you have your first experience as a wolf.
When in wolf mode you're in the Twilight Realm. As a wolf the controls take the same basic turn, but you get the senses of a wolf, but it's somewhat enhanced to let you see where the people are outside of the realm and kill things that are attacking them. When you're a wolf you get the help of a rather mean helper. She refuses to change you back to your true form until you meet somebody, then after that she has you do even more tasks, then even more. Combat while you're a wolf is quite the same as a human except, you cannot use items, but you can dig and use your senses, and you also have something fairly similar to Links sword charge (but I won't give too much away).
The lighting, ah the lighting, it is nothing short of amazing. Whilst in the Twilight Realm, the lighting will absolutely amaze you, it makes the game look beautiful, every aspect of your body and your surroundings are illuminated and reflect beautifully. But in the realm as Link, it's pretty, but nothing compared to the Twilight Realm.
The combat, essentially the same tactics as in every other Zelda game except for when a wolf, same moves but, an extra, very helpful and powerful move as well.

Rundown:

Graphics: 5/5
-Considering this system is practically a Gamecube with some motion sensing, the graphics are spectacular, it has a beautiful comical look to it in the Twilight Realm, and a fairly more serious view in the normal realm, any graphical shortcomings are well masked by the beautiful lighting.

Sound: 4/5
-The sound in this game is beautiful and tumultuous. But c'mon still no voice output for the characters? I wanna hear Link!

Replay Value: 5/5
-Quite a long and at times extremely hard or very easy game, but nothing short of spectacular.

Value: 5/5
-This is, in my opinion, one of the best games of 2006, it is worth every penny.

Now, it may have taken ten years, but it appears that Nintendo may have managed to beat the previous holder of the Zelda thrown, Ocarina of Time.
