SP. micro is too small, I think it would cramp my hands, and hurt my eyes.

SP. Having the flip open option protects the screen from getting scratched. The micro is cool but not worth the money

So let me get this straight, the new GBA ISN'T going to play Gamecube games?

Cause all the fan boys said the Gameboy Elite was going to play Gamecube games and would put the PSP out of business. They've been very reliable in the past...

SP, but mines broken so I'll probably get a Micro if it's cheap enough.

And I don't think the micro is supposed to be the Gameboy Evolution or Elite or whatever the hell they're going to call it. :D

My R shoulder button doesn't work. It makes it very difficult to play FFTA.

Actually I had a friend who dropped his, it hit the corner and cracked the screen. He got pissed and snapped it in half. Took it back to EB and told them it got ranover by a truck. They gave him another with his warranty. :D Then he took that one from a very cold car inside the house and the screen cracked again. He hasn't replaced that one yet. :D

I got mine from BB day before launch day with no warranty but with over 120 hours in FFTA + the 20+ other games I have, I think I got the good out of mine. :D

i hope mine doesnt break. I have one of those airform cases for it, it got it free when I got my flash card. The best part is that on the case in perfect engrish:

"The case that a game machine is protected safety"

So I'm pretty confident in it.

Nice. I have some Japanese transformers that say" The truth who the eyes met before." Isn't that supposed to be "more than meets the eye"? :D

I never heard of a Gamboy "Elite." I did see a mockup of a portable gamecube, but I wasn't aware anybody was trying to push it as legit.

Even still, I'd buy one and love it, but it wouldn't beat the PSP.

GBA SP is the best.

-Fold over design protects the screen
-Lighted screen
-Plays GameBoy, GameBoy Color, & GameBoy Advance games

Good point, have they said anything about the new Micro playing old gameboy and gameboy color games?

Yeah. It won't.

What's the deal with them cutting all their backwards compatability from systems lately. I mean the DS and now the micro both play advance games but not anything older. It has to be possible for them to do it, especially considering that there's a hack that let's you do it on the DS.

Well, picture it: a huge GB cart sticking out of that little Micro. Since they're trying to snag the 'cool' crowd with this thing or something, it would look a little tacky. Besides, that screen is so small and the resolution on older GB games sucks so much it would be almost unplayable. They can't have backwards compatibility forever.

Personally, this seems like one of those things that seems like a big deal until you have the system for a while and realize it doesn't really matter and you don't really care in the end.

Does anyone perhaps have a link to a site for a pic of the Micro? I forgot what it looks like, all i saw was a brief image of it on G4 a few days ago.

I don't own the two current Gameboys already out, and the micro is too small. I guess I'd choose the SP though.

i have the original gameboy adv cuz my friend got tired of it and gave it to me.... lol... i like the sp... the micro is another way to get money.... and that gamecube portable mockup would have nintendo losing lots of money to produce and sell...

LOL...For some reason this thing reminds me of that tiny cell phone off of the movie Zoolander.
