PS3 - Madden 2007

I just got my copy of Madden 2007 today, (thanks hanzo) and I thought this game deserves a review. Now I have this on the 360 as well so I am going to do a comparison review.

Graphics!
The graphics on the 360 are very nice and the character models are beautiful. After playing the PS3 version I notice a tad more detail in the players faces and more detail in the grass.

Sound
Both systems could have used some more sounds. I want to hear more players talkin trash. I want to hear different crowd chants. Unfortunately both systems fail to deliver in this catagory.

Value
If you love football like I do then it doesnt matter what system you get this game on. You will be playing football nonstop until 2008 releases.

360 = 8.75/10
PS3 = 9/10

Overall the PS3 version looks a bit cleaner and has more detail. The PS3 however doesnt have achievements.

It runs at 30fps until it drops down to 25fps in certain spots. (360 version)
I have played 3 seasons on the 360 version and I am 75% done with my first season on the PS3. I have yet to notice a bit of slowdown. Trust me when I say the PS3 version is better.

but honestly it has nothing to do with the system, its the fact that the ps3 version was released a good amount of time after the 360 version was, it should be better.

gamespot has the graphics comparison different than you. In the pics they provided, the 360 clearly has the edge over the PS3 version of it.

How's the controls, gameplay, etc., on the PS3 ? Compared to the 360 ? Online ? Are the prices the same ? If you have the 360 version, is it worth the cash to buy the PS3 version ?

It's not a very good review considering you say the graphics are a little better than the 360, and the sound sucks on both, no achievements on the PS3, but you give it a higher score than the 360 version. That doesn't make sense.

Apparently I like my games not to lag or freeze up during gameplay. That is a big no no when I dish out $60.

PS3 = No lag, No freezing, better graphics. (I own both and I know the PS3 graphics are better in the game)

360 = achievements.......if thats the only thing you care about then go for it. But dont cry when you play 3 games in a row without saving and it freezes up in the 3rd quarter lol.

And Gamespot gave Warioware a higher rating than Zelda TP so I really dont think using Gamespot as an example is a very good one lol.
