Got Tapwave Zodiac?

I was actually saving up for this before I even heard of the PSP. Not only is it more expensive but it's completely encased in aluminum, which is cool. The selection of games was quite poor but promising when I was looking at it. I still kind of want one because it's like a Palm on steroids but the third party support is going the way of the Atari Jaguar. If you have one just tell me do you think it's worth it? Thanks.

Its my understanding that there are two versions of it. From what I have read its cool as hell but theres no support for it. Wait a year and get it on sale if you want one as a collectible.

If you buy a Zodiac for gaming, you're only kidding yourself. What the Zodiac is: an awesome, crystal-clear-display Palm, with some decent gaming thrown in. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a Palm device, but not as a gaming handheld.

You really summed it up and confirmed my doubts. Thanks for the info peeps. I had no idea the Zodiac was essentially dead as far as gaming is concerned just thought it was slow goin'. Guess this explains why I have a Atari Jaguar and a Nuon...I'd still grab one just for the Palm stuff but it's gonna have to be a great deal.

i have one but am selling it soon to get a psp. its really fun. the game selection isn't to great but there are emulators and the games it does have are pretty fun. its a really good multimedia device and palm too. great little device though.

I love obscure game systems. I had a Virtual Boy for quite a while, and was intent on getting every last game made for it... until I realized games like Space Invaders and Virtual Bowling sold for like $600 on eBay...

the zodiac is really a great device. if you want a nice device other than the psp, the zodiac is great
