I think I got mine for like 254 after tax though from the Apple store cus of my Sun Microsystems 6% discount. But this is a good deal for the rest of you.

No it isn't. I own a 8GB nano and enjoy it a lot. I needed more than 4GB's of music, and don't want a big, not durable, easily scratch able, short battery player that the video iPod is, especially since I don't need/want the video capabilities.
