This will be the OFFICIAL TVG Time Trial results thread. I will update it each week, on Sunday. You must be on my Friends List to be entered into these standings. Pictures will not count at all. I update these by the standings that Forza 2 reports on the SCOREBOARD - Friends section. This list is incomplete at this time, as there are A LOT of tracks to post all the results for. It will be completed in due time though. So, LET'S RACE !

Please don't spam the thread with times. It will really annoy me. If you want to post a time, please post something along with it. Any posts with times ONLY will be deleted.

RULES
You MUST be added to my friends list. Add F34RTHER34PER.
All assists must be off, with the exception of ABS.
The transmission can be Auto or Manual, that is the users choice.

I'll keep donating prizes as long as I have points lol. I might reduce them to 7k, 5k, and 3k, though lol. I might add a prize to the person who has the most #1 scores at the end of each month. How about 10,000 points ? I'll add the rules now.

It's much easier without the assists on in my opinion. Give it a try. It doesn't matter what "place" you are in, just that you participate.

Correct. You are already on my list. Just do a time trial while signed into Live! and it automatically registers your score online. Then I can get your score from the online list, and even race against your best lap !

i just done the first 5 in top of 3 of them no way am i beating your nissan speedway and im a 100th off the suska one i cna easily beat it that though by a second but got annoyed becuase i spun

Some of them I didn't go many laps at all. Once I beat the score, I finished the race. I'm sure I can lower the times on all those races.

I'd really like to get my hands a wheel to see if that would help me any.

I never use the controller. I seem to have lots more control of the car because it has some resistance I am use to when driving a real car, so I can get a feel how much to turn. This may be not true but I find the wheel can make the car turn at a higher angle than the controller. However, the wheel can make it harder if your cars specs aren't right. For example if you have 600hp and a 3.2 handling rating, the forcefeedback turns the wheel like crazy. You also need to tune your car for a smooth ride. This can be fixed by using batteries to stop the force feedback but then the wheel has no resistance at all and I can't control my car. The wheel also adds much, much more fun to the experience. If I could gear the axels, I am sure I could cut it down to 45 seconds, I top out at 185ish, and you do not have enough time to keep it in 6th with the curves.

yea, you're going to need to tune the car some to be able to get sub 00:46 times on Nissan. I might be able to shave a little more off with better turning in the last turn, and the first turn on the 3rd lap.

What do you mean tuning in certain laps and turns? like how you take the laps and corners? Or like engine tuning? I am confused.

I didnt think you could change the gear ratio for the time trials? I put my gears high for certain levels, and low for certain levels, I like really high gears so I have better acceleration on tracks with alot of turns, but you dont want too much where you spin out.

I can't tell ya that lol. I'll be able to get a better time tomorrow. I did that last race right before work, so I was in a hurry. I have a better understanding of the two turns I was losing speed on now. I'll be able to get close to 46 flat or better.

If you haven't already, race my ghost. it helps. run a few practice laps with the full line assist on so you can get a feel on the turns. I don't consider that cheating at all. Just don't use the line when posting time trials lol, that I do consider cheating lol.
