Maybe...maybe not. Sony did state that they were going to release the PS3 in Spring 2006...and March IS in Spring. However, it is unsure if they're releasing it worldwide on the same day/month/season.

I don't think it is true because I heard that Microsoft was going to release Halo 3 on the day of the PS3 release and Halo 3 has a while to go till it is done.

is not true because sony already stated that the ps3 has gotten a slighted price increase. since the blue ray technology the ps3 has, its costing a litle more that what they had planned.

sony have confirmed it will be £255 and they say it will be launched in spring 2006

Does anyone here read anything with pages? L0L JK. Pick up the November Issue of PSM. PS3 will be released in Japan AND stateside before the Summer of 2006. We're also looking at a price tag under $400, but it most likely will be more expensive than an XBox 360.
