Well apparently some of the fixes from 1.5 werent working so Sony has come out with another update.


You can now select an image to use as the User icon from [Photo].
[Key Tone] has been added as an option under [Sound Settings].
[Delete Backup Data] has been added as an option under [System Settings] > [Backup Utility].
WEP 128, WPA-PSK (TKIP) and WPA-PSK (AES) have been added as security methods that can be used with [AOSS] under [Automatic].
o If you have already set up for AOSS using an earlier version of the system software, you must perform AOSS setup again to use the security methods listed above.
o When [Automatic] is selected, the security method to be used is automatically set.
New for 1.51: Support for PLAYSTATION 3 format software titles has been expanded.
The method for saving your password / signing in automatically under PLAYSTATION Network has been changed. There are now two separate options.
You can now enter text in Korean using the on-screen keyboard.

Yes you can play backups but you wont find out how in this thread. :)

But....

Backups would only play on a Blu-Ray disc... And you'd have to buy a Blu-Ray burner... $1000....

Lol, ONE new thing that I can see, and the rest is fixing the stuff that SHOULD have been done properly in the first place... lmao.

EU ones are shipping with 1.5 I believe...but I wouldnt be suprised if they now ship with 1.51.

Meh, don't feel like turning my PS3 on to update. Nothin really inmportant in this update.
