GoW Co-op Error "lost connection with host"

Yeah, so when ever i try to join a Co-op game i get this error. Anyone know how to fix it or whats wrong? Also i've noticed online my shotss are a little delayed, like if i shot at the ground it takes like 1 second for them to hit the ground is this lag or just the game>

I've never really had a problem with lag in any other game. Does GoW just require like really high speeds, and my 100 foot ethernet from 3rd floor to basement isnt fast enough?
