Can a version 2.28 psp be downgraded then/or upgraded to 3.40 oe?


Thank you....sorry I can't find anything in search regarding firmware 2.28 and would take forever to sift threw these threads...

Never heard of this version firmware...its a potential customers psp and thats what he said it was but kinda wondering if he looked in the spot I told him to or not

There is no 2.28 version, if he means 2.82 then yea. You just need to upgrade to 3.03 or 3.5, depending on which method you want to use to downgrade.

I have seen information about sony implementing things that block users from using official updates after they have been downgraded. I don't know which motherboards, or firmware revisions this includes.

However, the Noobz team is already working on a fix, and it will be released when ready. Once you've gone to an OE firmware, there isn't any need to use anything official from Sony again.

Any chance you could point me in the right direction for such a package of sorts to upgrade to 3.03 so I can then downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.4 oe
