Suggestions for the TRU B2G1 free sale...

This is an annual TRU sale. Buy 2 games, get 1 free. PS2, GCN & XBOX ONLY!

So I'm looking for suggestions for a third game. I plan to get Soul Calibur 3, Resident Evil 4 CE and I was going to get GTA: LC but PSP and DS games aren't included in the sale. :evil: I'm kinda debating between Shadow of Colossus, THAW or a gamecube game Fire Emblem maybe. Anyone have any ideas for a recently released PS2 or Gamecube game. Kinda looking for something expensive to get the most money out of the deal. :P

my bro just got fire emblem and likes it. He says its like the gameboy ones, but 3d, and you can give each character some special abilities or something.

I second Fire Emblem on GC. I have it and the game rocks. I haven't played shadow of the colossus yet, but I plan on getting it during the sale. :D

i played the demo for shadow of the colossus and was impressed, but not blown away like many of the reviews I have read.

It is one of the rare 480p AND 16:9 games on PS2 though. And it has really good graphics to begin with, so at least it would look pretty.

Is the Shadow of Colossus demo in last month's OPM? I didn't get that one but I'd like to try the game before I buy. You guys know if it's on a jampack or anything?

Fire Emblem was a possibility too. I don't know if I want an RPG though. I plan on getting Dragon Warrior VIII when it comes out and want to be fresh for it. I still need to check out the demo disc of that I got earlier this week.

-GJAMPACK VOL 13 does have a shadow of colossus demo on it. If its the same as the OPM demo, it runs at 480p, but is the only game I know of that forces a 4:3 window while running at 480p. I have read that the full version allows 480p at 16:9 though.

I read in the new OPM ( SC3) that next issue is supposed to have the demo on it too. I would assume it's the same. You have PM.

I suggest Fire Emblem too, played a bit at a friends and it felt just like the GBA ones.
Or Mario DDR.

I'm getting those two and another game I've yet to choose another.

So I'm going out tonight... I'm thinking Burnout Revenge now. I'm thinkng I may hold on to it a while and possibly trade it in for DW: VIII. But if I don't decide to do that I may keep it. Any of you guys gone and gotten anything?


Edit: Got Soul Calibur 3, Resident Evil 4, & Burnout Revenge last night. Sequels abound. :D
