Gimp Question

Does anyone who uses gimp know how to save an image with the layers, so when i open it, itll have them and not be all the background?

If you read the instruction manual if i remember rightly, it does tell you. Im not sure though. Sorry. :(

Save as a PSD, best image type for layers. Only certain image types allow layers.
