DS vs. PSP

Same here. The DS games are so much better. Though, I suppose that I am biased since i own just a DS.

I chose PSP for everything but games. Controls were close but the Dpad on the DS is so small it cramps my thumb. Anybody that has play Mario64 on it knows what I am talking about.

You have to understand that I dont see my PSP as a game system primarily..neither do sony.. they see it as a media device... so technically the PSP is the most successful. :D:D:D

PSP in my mind is the winner basically because of the vast number of things you can do on it.
Its such a good investment.

I watch lots of movies on my PSP, well the ones i download i watch on there. i watch movies on TV and in the threatre too :)

it's just so easy to watch them on the PSP... especially when i'm at break before a class or waiting on something

The PSP is so expesive because just to watch movies you have to buy an expensive memory stick. The games just aren't good enough for the price of it.

I have both and these are my observations.

PSP
-More Media-like (music, pics, movies)
-More T+ rated games (for teens and up)
-PC friendly

DS
-More fun games
-Better for car trips
-Not media friendly
-Better for the wee laddies

I'm reluctant to vote either a loser. In respect to my use, they are both top notch for what they get used for.

I guess it's a little easier to look at a poll and vote for specific options, but that wouldn't truly represent what each device is used for. This is specific to my personal uses of course.

The PSP has a few games that I regularly play. It also gets used for a TON of homebrew, emulators, and multimedia apps. i.e. music and movies.

The DS, has some pretty entertaining games for it, and therefore, I get more pure gaming use out of it.
