Hey, i've been wanting to do these for quite a while, so I thought i'd ask you guys.

1. Those cool sig borders [Like on President P. Skillz's sig]

2. Making things look 3D

3. Glowing/Moving things.

Thanks in advance.

You need Photoshop 7+ to do it.
Glowing is just done by choosing the item or space that needs glow, and clicking the "f" at the bottom of the toolbar window with "Layers" "Channels" and "Paths" in tabs at the top of it.

Then, go to "external glow" and adjust the glow type in that menu.

Oh, for the 3D effect on text, highlight the text and click the little "f" again, then, choose the drop shadow and adjust depending on depth of 3D.

For a 3D sig, like where the edges look raised, you use the bevelled and emboss option, and adjust the edges to look like they're raised.

It's cool, but too much of a good thing is bad. And there is too much.

This is how I do it and I use Photoshop CS2 like you :D

1. Select the Polygon lasso tool and make the selection for your border around the edge.

2. Now right click and press select inverse.

Now just fill it with any color/gradient. Put some effects on it and w/e. Hope this helps :D

I did something else, from GeeBo's old tut:
0. Make a new layer
1. Select the border with Polygonial selection tool like kozine said
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+I
3. Double-click on the space right of the layer's name (on the layer palette)
4. Click on Bevel and Emboss
5. Fool around with settings
6. Set opacity to something.

as presidentpskillz said in #6, if u want a glassy frame, choose bevel and emboss, chissel hard then OK, then in the same layer go to fill 0%

But how do I get it like that? Like, the border style? If you get what I mean.
