HDMI = 1080p for future Xbox 360 games. HDMI = much better picture quality in general. remember when S-video was so great? Well thats what HDMI is now.

I don't use HD on my 360 anyways, I just play it on a normal size TV.

If there was a separate hard drive, it'll probably cost $150+ considering the size of it compared to the stand alone 20G

I have no deisre to get this, cuz the only thing i would want it for is the black case and the 120gb hardrive, but other than that i dont have a 1080p tv only 720p so i dont need hdmi

The bigger HD isn't just for demos and stuff that you guys probably use it for. It's to make the 360 the "center of your home entertainment" and also probably for video saves when iptv comes out.

It doesn't have anything to do with 1080p. This just adds a bigger hard drive, different look, and another aud/vid connection option. There are probably future considerations that warranted the addition of the HDMI connection.

If its all black like rumors state i will buy one for the upgrades. It will be time for an HDMI receiver as well.
