The PS3 is going to cost $788 (US) when it finally arrives in Australia. Japan and the US recieved a free copy of Talladega Nights with their $600 + $500 models. To help boost the sales Sony isnt giving a free copy of that movie, instead AUS is going to be getting Casino Royale. But this is only offered to the first 20,000 that register their PS3 online.

I dont know about you guys but to me this deal kind of sucks lol. I would rather have a real copy of Talladega Nights instead of a downloaded copy of Casino Royale. Unless Sony is planning on shipping these discs to their homes?

LOL - $788 USD - I'm sure alot of Aussie's would rather have a Kangeroo punch them in their balls. :lol:

sorry i completley fudged that post up. Remember the european launch there is only one model that is the 60GB one there wont be a 20 GB on the market becuase sony want to charge us even more. The 60GB model is £425 and that is


UK£ 425 = 829.8975 US$

so around $830

how much is the 60GB model in the US?

The UK WILL be getting this aswell, first 20k people to register will be getting Casino Royale shipped, much like the spiderman 2 UMD movie with the PSP.

I still think we get a free BD movie aswell?

lucky guys and there moaning at that price! i would snap up a PS3 in no time for £325

Casino Royale = kickASS on HD, I would guess.

Helluh better than Talladega Nights on Blu Ray, by the least.
