Never mind, my parents deffinatly won't buy it for me, a few nights ago I read that it would cost 100-150 and I asked my 'rents if they would buy it for me kind of as a treat for completeing my PC. Then I just now read a few places that it could cost 500-1000 usd!!!

Anyone can build a PC. I am surprised more people don't. Come on people you get better performance at a cheaper price if you build your own. And if it starts acting funny you know exactly what's wrong with it. But, i guess it would take away from being a conversation piece if everyone built their own.

I like them both alot. The LCD one is super cool because of how you can change it but i like the first one because of of the options on the left side. They should combine them both and make one hella awesome keyboard.

Not really you just have to double and triple check that all your components of compatable and work well together. You don't even have to set custom BIOS anymore you can just use factory settings.

I found out that the one with the LCD screen is about 85 USD! CHEAAAPPP!
Mine is this peice of **** natural keyboard where the keys are separated into two parts. its all bumpy in shape too. UGH i hate my keyboard.

have you all seen those projector keyboards? they have a small projector the size of a golf ball that mounts ou your monitor, connects via usb, and projects a keyboard onto your desktop that really works. they are about 1000 dollars though.

Buildin a PC is almost exactly like putting together a lego set. All you really have to do is put the pieces together. If you want to learn how, pick up a book from your local Borders or something. It's really quite simple.

There are still some people in the world that just suck with electronics tho. Interest in learning is the main thing. Books suck, First computer I built was just from old parts my friend bought. We were lucky we didnt fry the board. but It was simple. Didnt even know what wires did the first time. But everything is usually labeled or only fits in a certain place.

I got certified in highschool, boring class where we went over the same crap i had taught myself.

i built mine as well, its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a gay dell.....unless its a laptop, because your cant build them.....only desktops and media centers

I have this keyboard. Its nice but I really dont use the LCD for anything except checking my cpu and ram usage. I cant live without the backlit keys though.

I use to have one in my truck, on the passenger side dash with laptop on center console. Worked pretty well with mouse key board emulator which allowed u to use arrow keys or game pad to move mouse.
