Hey guys; with finally getting my new Harddrive installed i've been moving all of my files over to it to get it all off of my old drive , but one problem. Music. I have music in my old 'file' system , some in iTunes and some here and there. I was wondering if theres a way to select folders and have iTunes or anything copy them into the iTunes Organized music directory as im trying to keep my new drive tidy.

If you understand what i mean?

well when you install iTunes im almost 100% sure that it has an option that searches for all of your audio files and puts them into your library, that what you mean?

Yeah, I have it, and it ported ALL of my music onto it. Even the shit I didn't want on it... Ask Griff, I think he uses iTunes also, and would know stuff like that.

What I've done to move a library is burn the whole collection onto DVD's then re-import them off those discs. It doesn't take as long as it sounds. The other option is that there is an export library function but I've never used it.

Just go find your my music folder and burn the iTunes library files and the music folder then copy it all to your new drive. Then you should have the same playlists and everything.
