Yes, but Blockbuster is evil. I wouldn't buy so much as a candy bar from them. They don't have many and the price is only like $5 less than new.

(Disclaimer: I know someone on here works for them and I'd be more than happy to discuss why I said that.)

lol no worries, I love my job and I love the people I work with but you are right, blockbuster is evil. They treat their employees well for the most part but they are very greedy and only care about their profit. But what company doesn't? lol With my discount I shop from them all the time, I still end up paying a few extra bucks more but when I buy DVDs from Walmart or Best Buy for cheaper they always are messed up so how so I pay the few extra bucks. My blockbuster only has a one UMD movie which I traded in. The trade values arn't bad for games, better than like GameStop. But the one game I traded in they charged $45 for it and somebody was stupid enough to buy it.

Some of their used movies are good prices and alot arn't. If you want use movies get 3, so you can do 3 for $25 otherwise you'll pay $13 a piece for them.

Glad you weren't offended because it wasn't anything personal against ANY blockbuster employee. I rented two PS2 games in November, forgot I had them and kept them 2 weeks late. I understood I'd have to pay the little restock fee, no big deal. When I went in last week to rent another game, they wanted almost $60. They had no record that I returned the two games then argued with me. After digging around some, he found both games stuffed in a drawer. They hadn't been checked in and no one even thought to write a date they were returned on it. I understand if the computer system won't let you check them in after it's been a certain time, but I turned those in before the cut off they were trying to tell me.

Anyway, I was sooo mad that they wanted so much when they had the games!! I just walked out. The guy told me "I can't let you rent anything else until you pay." PFFT! I don't need to rent anything that badly.

Since all I've said is negative I will say a couple positive things. I really like the deals they have on used DVDs. We've got a ton of movies from there really cheap because of things like the 3 for $25. Plus they have Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the impulse section. yummmm

I used to go to blockbuster alot. But for ALMOST 9 FREAKING DOLLARS A GAME!?!? No not anyore im done with Blockbuster. Gamefly is the way now. 15 bucks a month 10 for the first, you can get one ame out at a time for as long as you want. 20 bucks for 2 games out at once and first month is 15. Thats a great way to try alot of games out to know if you want to buy them or not.

the problem with gamefly is if you want to get your moneys worth you would have to have a quick turn around on the games. It's not like Netflix where you watch one 2 hour movie and can send it back the same day or the day after you got it. I guess if you really just wanted to play a game for 1 or 2 days it'd be ok...

Even so thing about it. Lets say its January 1st. You get a game shipped out on that day you get it around January 4th. You play it for 7 days or so and send it back on thr 11th. They ship the same day you put it in the mail so you should get your next game on the 14th. PLay for 7 days and get another by like the 24th. Thats 3 games there. Plus if you dont like one you know now to buy it.

all the blockbusters by me have a decent selection of psp games. i goto the one near UCF (college) and they have good turnover and ahuge game rush section. i was there this weekend and they even had legend of heroes used alogn with a couple other newer games. but all theyre used games are 25% off so its a decent deal for newer games. and all the used psp games ive bought have cases and instructions so 25% off 35 and 30 bucks is a decent deal to me for newer games since EB and gamestop are all like $35 for a used game.
