Sorry to be a bother, but I need a quick response (if possible), as I'm at a friend's house for the night.

Using DVD Decrypter, I have ripped several episodes of Family Guy from a friends' DVD. I would then like to Burn those files onto a blank DVD of my own. However when I drag and drop the .VOB files (which are in folders for organization purposes and are about 1 GB in size each), a message comes up saying, "Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this folder. What do you want to do?". The choices given are Retry, Skip, and Cancel.

The blank DVD I am using is A DVD-R recordable (4.7GB, 120 min). A basic DVD. My friends DVD drive is a DVD+/- RW Drive, so I know its not the wrong format. Any ideas?

Help would be greatly appreciated (the sooner, the better), as I have 10 DVDs to burn!

Thanks,

Craig (invdr_chkn)

What are you using to burn ? I think Nero 6 is good DVD burning software , don't have a DVD burner myself..

I think its because of the File type. Think it needs to be .avi

DVD X Copy rips and burns while u just sit back and wait, so simple.

Pop in disk - take out things you dont want (extra features and crap) then just hit copy.

Well, my friend had some episodes of family guy in .vob form that I wanted to burn onto a DVD, and then put them on my computer to resize them and change them into .mp4 for him. So basically I wanted to just make a data disk. He doesnt have nero or anything. Is there any way I can just drag and drpo the files?
