Okay so, I and take my midterms, then when I come home i turn on my monitor and NORTON ANTIVIRUS ALERT says there is a Downloader.Trojan, Im like thats just dandy! Norton can't delete it or quarantine it, come to think of it Norton has done NOTHING ever for me! So I tried using my classic quad threat, Boot into safe mode, run Hijack This!, delete maliouse registries, run Spyware Doctor, then run Ewido Security, and then Clean up!, I killed about 700 million spywares and adwares I didnt know about, but there was still that trojan, and it was downloading massive adware sh$t! Help me!!!!!!

P.S. Never get Norton AntiAntiVirus

Use ESET NOD32. It owns Norton with a large stick.

Norton is a virus. AVG combined with Ad-Aware and Zone Alarm is all you need to keep your system squeaky clean.

AVG blows.
NOD 32, Zone Alarm, Spybot Search & Destroy, and RegCleaner 4.3 will keep your system clean, safe and fast.

Some times I just wanna come up behind these programmers of the adware and cut their throats! Anyone else share my feelings? It takes me forever to POST!!!!

Sry got an ad attack and it froze firefox, I'm touch and go here, I used Zone-Alarm, what other programs detect viruses,

EDIT: Found out how I got all this sh*t, Bearshare Pro (pirated crack)!

For downloads use torrents or limewire. Not as full of crap.

I download Webroot off of Azureus and the program got rid of all the sh*t, It felt like my computer just took a big dump, and it was happy agian :)

I have had like 45895753745 viruses try to hack my computer and because of AVGfree nothing EVER succeeded in fking up my come. AVG does not suck.

Norton, Ad-Aware, a Brain.

Best protection bundle there is.

I never liked Zone Alarm, its too much of a paranoid prog. I dont use limewire due to spyware. people say it doesnt have spyware yet here I am spyware free and mysister who uses it, and only thing she uses computer for, is full of spyware.

ut its all dependent on how ur run your compy.

i use kaspersky, adaware and spybot

my system is as clean as can be

Norton Anti-Virus sucks a$$!!!!!!! My comp is full of crap that slows down my computer. I also have spy-bot but no help either!!

Gotta get something that will keep my computer clean, my mum keeps giving out obout it!!!!!

yeah norton does rock and so does webroot spysweeper, they have got rid of all the viruses and spyware on my computer over the years. stick with norton.

tip 4 you guys with all the viruses/spyware: cut down on the p0rn sites! believe me it makes a difference!
80% of it comes from those sites

you most likely do, i never used my virus scanner and one day i decided to use it i found a whole load of junk i didn't even know was on my computer. i now use it all the time :wink:
