I want to mod my XBOX!

Ok, I've got the right screwdrivers to open it. I've got a whole torx set.

I would like to paint it white on the X or cut wholes in it.

Where do I start and what do I need?

There are 6 screws on the bottom, 4 under the pads, two under the center most stickers. I reccommend that you use a hair dryer and heat the stickers up and carefully pull them back that way when you paint it it will still look clean. Then start pulling the guts, i believe that the screws inside are 15 torx and there is one between the HDD and DVD drive and 2 on each side of the dvd drive at the front of the box. Next would be the board there is like 10-15 screws holding the board and PSU in place once that is done prep, paint, and reassemble then stand back and enjoy. It's just Ive never done anything like this before.

What would I use? Spray Paint? Plastic Primer?

Alot of people you auto paint and then clear coat it

But in the top shell of the xbox theres metal.

Do I remove it?

Yes you remove the sheilding, you will want to wear gloves and clean the plastic
