My ps3 broke, kind of

Ever since I upgraded to version 1.60 my ps3 has beed acting funny. It freezes when i play Resistance online and i have to manually restart it, and any thing bluetooth rareley connects if at all. I even tried to restore defult setting on the ps3 which took 3 hours and 30 minutes!!

So I called Sony and they said that it might be the ps3. They also said that I will need to send it in for a replacement and that if I don't have my receipt it will cost $140, but if i do it will be free to replace. YAY. But there is a problem, I don't know where my receipt. I will be pist if i can't find it.

I am bummed about this, I love to play Resistance online, I play it a bunch of hours a day.

So has this happened to anyone else, like bluetooth stuff not connecting or ps3 freezing?
And does anyone else has the Motorola H500 bluetooth headset, and if you do does it auto-reconnect? I wanna if it does because i just got it when i updates my ps3 to 1.60 and i want to know if its the mic or the ps3 because if its the mic then i will return it and get a new one the auto-reconnects.

I've not heard of anything like this happening. If no one mentions it, maybe search around a bit and see what you can find out on it.

Good luck on finding your receipt. No one needs to spend another 140 on anything.

I upgraded to 1.6 and no problems yet.

I have no problems with the upgrade but I sold my bluetooth headset and bought the Socom headset because it kept losing the signal.

Ok, Im in deep sh*t now. I goit it online so i didn't get a reciept, i got a packaging list. I called Sony again and he asked me the date on the receipt adn there isn't one because i only have the packaging list so their is none. I probally should have made up a date but what ever. SO he said i have to call gamestop and get a reciept from them. I really don't feel like paying $140.

Its well known that people were having problems with cell phone bluetooth headsets and the PS3. However, NOt everyone has that problem.

Dont hold me to this, legally Gamstop have to provide a receipt showing date of purchase.. dont they?

I was going to call up gamestop but they were closed so they are open now and I will call and get a receipt.
