What System should I chose?

Okay, so basically, I had to give my X box and my ps2 away to some of my family. Secondly, what system should I choose?

I like FPS and RTS games and games with a damn good storyline, I also like racing games like formula 1.

I already have money saved for PS3, but I cant wait that long, to buy the system lol.

out of all of these the ps2 has the most life still left in it with still quite a few good games to look forward too
gamecube is finally falling with very few to look forward to
and with the x-box's semi improved version out x-box has become useless

the online on ps2 is the ossentials, playability is JUST as good as x-box, it just dosent have all the quirks the x-box have, wihch is really the only reason it got popular besides halo

Xbox is the best system out in my opinion. I have three, one hard modded, one soft modded, and one normal. Halo 2 is a hella fun game to play online also. If you get an xbox you should mod it. You can do all kinds od new things with your xbox if you mod it, such as playing pirated games, going on the internet with it, and many others neat things.

Get an xbox because of halo. Everything else on a gaming systemd gets boring but xbox is like, the leader of FPS on game consoles.

PS2 is great, but you should choose carefully, mebbe tell us what you are interested in playing with one...?

i have all 3 systems, i can tell you 1 ps2 has more life in it 2 ps2 has more games on it and 3 ps2 is better for quality

my x-box is good for like halo, halo 2, and fable

my g-cube is great, zelda, tons of mario games, the better re4, and actually better graphics than ps2, and better quality tahn x-box

BUT like i said cube has little to no life left in it, its become so stail all hollywood videos in my town have taken away its wall, making room for xbox 360, and ps2

if your thinking 360 i'd give it another year, itll come down on price when ps3 and revolution comes out, its not worth its current price, and mine currently crashes, over heats, freezes, ect

if you're looking for a game with a "damn" good storyline, then gamecube is the way to go. The other two systems focus mostly on racing/shotting/beat em ups, which don't usually have any sort of story whatsoever. So yer, if you're looking for storylines, get a gamecube.

i say get a Gamecube and an Xbox.

Xbox and PS2 both have fantastic games but Microsoft is no longer supporting the Xbox, there arn't any good games on the horizon for it. I recently bought a PS2. Pick up a PS2 and buy Black. Also snag the greatest hits version of Midnight Club 3 on the 13th. It has some new cars and shit. I own a GameCube as well but only because I love the Metroid and Zelda (pushed back again, omg).

If you like FPS Xbox is your system. If you like RPG's like Final fantasy then get PS2. if you like mario get Gamecube.

Honestly, a Gamecube.

All games in my nearby game shop are going for £9.99 and I've picked up a shed load of great games at bargain prices and I'#m building up a collection now of games I can get on over consoles for next to nothing.

Though if that doesn't convinse you, an XBOX. The prices are also crashing because of the 360.

the guy who i get my computers off has software he created called copyMax
anyways when puts disc in say super mario for gamecube and opens it in his program he edits the all the config files or what ever they are and basicly plays them on his ps2 he said you need a special drive to read game cube discs because of the size but you need a chipped ps2 to be able to read the disc.

X-box 360 is sadly going the way of the dreamcast, but unlike the dremcast it has very few good games to itself.....

a couple of years ago the dreamcast came out, it was pwnage, and it ruled in its ability to modifyto play other games on it, but when ps2 and g-cube hit the market, everyone saw how rushed and uncomplete the sega system was and it died.

X-box360 was also rush, even in its specs ps3 boasts better graphics than the x-box, a whole new physics engine making the possibilities with games almsot endless, its more powerfull...ect

revolution sounds good, im also getting that one (i always buy all the systems) but my friend who has a parent working for a nintendo shippiong company, and is on the "in" crowd got to play the system, and says its not as impressive, that it feels like a better looking gamecube with a funky controller.......

anyway as for the 360, again, its not worth your money,, wasn't even worth my money though i got it, even if you are looking to waist it, its way too expensive for how it is, wait for the ps3 to hit spring 2007 and the x-box will fall so hard billgates will get bruises (boy that was corny)
anyway truley, it will go the way of the dreamcast, right before it died out the dreamcast was less than 100 dollars as it scrounged for life, and so will the 360, but you must catch it at that phase because after that it will become so rare it'll cost more than its original price to buy......
