So if someone of you remember my power cable died a while ago... I decided to try a DIY fix with a computer power supply. Now my console is overheated =(
3 red lights and 0022 error. This means GPU failure/GPU overheating... This is ****ty. I don't wanna shell out another $150 on repair...

i say just part out the console, or sell it broken, u could easily make like 150 or so for it and just pay the diffrence for a new console

When did you buy it?

You should have spent the $60 on a 4 year warranty!

I would suggest packing it up and taking it to walmart, tell them you bought it there a few weeks ago, dont have the recipt, and it overheated on you, they might exchange it no questions asked.

Or buy a new Xbox 360 @ Walmart, swap it out with the broken one, return it. I've heard people have sucessfully done that before.

You can do that, walmart is often..retarded and does not check serials. My friend bought a xbox 360 there, and then also bought a broken xbox 360 on ebay, he put the broken one in the box and exchanged it for a new one, he got two xbox 360's for the price of one.
