What operating system do you use ?

if the file sysytem you use is FAT32 then that limits files to 4GB.
to get around it you can tick the boxes of half the movie, then just put the film onto your memory stick in 2 parts

there is 4GB on 1 of the drives and 12GB on the other drive

you see before i decrypt a dvd it will ask me 2 select a designated folder where the decrypted film will be stored

Not if you have a FAT32 file system. Right-click on your drive, and go to properties. You'll see this pic:

http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/6711/hddfilesystem6mh.th.png (http://img84.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hddfilesystem6mh.png)

That will tell you what file system that drive is using.
FAT32 is limited to 4GB file sizes. So once your dvd decrypts and reaches that file size, it's going to give you an error.

well it is not the dvd as I have done both

Think it might be the space

Have you tried saving to the partion with 11GB free?

If he's not using a FAT32 partition, then it's probably the space issue (as Rage pointed out).
