No audio!

Well i've been without any sound on my 360 for a couple weeks and i finally decided to call the support line. They think its just the component cables so they are shipping a new cable to me and it should arrive in 2-3 weeks, which kinda sucks. Do you guys think its just the cables or the 360? because i don't want to have to get a new 360.

Are they plugged into the right spots? Are you running HD or regular?

You probably have it set to optical instead of regular A/V.

yeh i thought i had no sound either but you probably have them plugged in wrong.
Those damn yellow and white things look the same!

Nope i went over them many times and they are right and the switch is on Normal or whatever. They ask you over and over if you have any friends or relatives with cables you can borrow, and i just said no, so they had to ship some. Come on though 2-3 weeks....

Well your post did say 2-3 weeks it has only been one week and i doubt your problems the top of microsofts things to do :D

My teacher at school had to send his 360 back and they took like 3 months and he complained and they sent him another 360 aswell as his old on fixed now thats what you call lucky :D
