You could sell your Premium right now for more. So if you plan to get one, sell your 360 and get around $300-$350 rather than $250.

I don't think its a rip off. Think of how many hours you have logged on your xbox. Taking a 200 dollar hit is worth it, if you think of it in rental terms. Plus you get the trade in with the new warranty and all the bugs worked out by now. Quieter drives etc. I was against the elite until I saw this, I might actually have to trade one of my xboxes in for it!

My 360 is starting to get loud, and a black xbox would look better sitting on top of by black TV. :lol:

For me it doesn't really matter cuz I gotta send mine in for repairs and I would rather have the elite and its only $50 difference between repair and getting a new one... Also I don't live in the states so sending it in for repair might be ****ty cuz i probably wont get it back while im vacationing there and ill have to have a friend mail it to me.

They check consoles before taking them, you wouldn't fool them.
