Guitar hero guitar problem! (not the whammy bar) Video inside

OK i finaly get GH today. I put the game in and i go on the tutorial. The tutorial tells me to play a few notes but the only note i can play is the orange fret (5) Im thinking maybe the orange button is stuck. So i take apart the guitar and even remove it. I then plug into my PC and go onto the controller properties. This video shows my number 5 fret (orange) is shown as always been pressed even when the touch pad isnt connected this explains why i cant play any notes but the orange fret.
Im very mad i bought this from the internet gonna be a pain returning it

just take it walmart, if you dont have the receipt, they will just give you a walmart gift card with the value on it

wont they scan the box's barcode and see that it was not purchased from their store?

Buy theirs and put your busted guitar in the wal mart box.

well, they scan the barcode, and it tells them the price, then they refund it to you on a gift card, ive done it many times with gifts that didnt have reciepts, and im sure they werent from my particular walmart.
