I heard form some ppl that the 360 has no internal cooling and it melts its discs after playing for a while. Is that true, bcuz i might possibly get one

If it had no cooling it would cut off after 10 minutes of play time.

It has a dual fan setup in the back of the system. Personally I would like to see one directly on the heatsink but oh well. I just played NBA Live 06 on the 360 and I believe that is the MOST impressive looking game I have ever seen in my life. Its so nice to see that the 360 really can produce amazing looking games because I have not been impressed with it lately.

You don't even have one, so before posting, THINK! Be a leader, not a follower.

If I were you. I'd goto the official xbox site www.xbox.com and do some research.

odds of getting a prob with 360 are the same with getting a problem on any other console

About 20 kids at school and two of my neighbors have them. No ones had any problems and my one neighbor plays A LOT. But new version of the xbox 360 is coming out with better cooling. I read it on gamespot.com. And they're getting better chips that are cheaper to make, so you might want to wait

I got my launch one and it still runs perfect not 1 freeze to date. It has a built in copper heatsink with some kind of gel/liquid stuff inside the heatpipe and 2 rear exhaust fans. It was built right for what it does. =D

My friend has had two Xbox's catch on fire. Both from overheating. Both of the Xboxs were first gens and had the overheating problem whenever that happened awhile ago.

That problem should be fixed by now, though. Also, don't worry about asking the question. He
s just being a jerk =P. Theres nothing wrong with asking if the $400 system you're about to buy is ganna suck or not.
