DAYUM, $500 as the CHEAPEST!? I dunno about this, but I don't like it. I will probably end up buying one a year after its release like all new consoles.

PS3 + a couple games is in the market of $700? I wonder how much it costs to make them...

Its actually £341.061 for the 20gb option, according to my sources lol.

Ill be going for the £410 package. As soon as GAME start takin pre-orders ill put my name down. Money is waiting :D

The controller pissed me off. Design a nice new ergonomic controller, then scrap it and stick some motion sensors in the old, crap, uncomfortable dual shock controller from nearly ten years ago.

a gamespot article says that the 20gb PS3 will not have features like,

"The PlayStation 3 will come in two configurations; one will have a 20GB hard drive and the other will have a 60GB hard drive. However, losing 40GB isn't the only downgrade with the 20GB version. The 20GB version, priced at $499, will not have Memory Stick, SD, or Compact Flash inputs, Wi-Fi capabilities, or any HDMI output."

For me the PS3 will be the final next-gen console I buy. The 360 first, then the Wii, and then maybe the PS3 in around 2 years. This is because I played me xbox, wanted a GC, and never played me PS2 except GTA.

GINORMUS difference. At least it was with the 360. They first had a ordinary TV at my walmart, and you could barely distinguish the fact that it wasnt ordinary X-Box. Then they got HD-TV and I was like Woah...

yeh it will be one heck of a jump fom standard TV to hd TV, erm when the ps3 comes out it will output in 1080p and HDMI so find a Tv that is capable with both of these!
