So there going to relase Smash bro's metriod and mario galaxy around the same time. After those big games whats next? seriously are wii customer expected to wait a few more years for another official games. Normaly this is were 3rd party developers will come in and make some games but theres hardly any announced games that are looking like blockbusters.
Also if you u watched spike Tv's latest ep they had a panel of game experts who have lots of inside information. They say wii 2 will happen in 2009 and will supourt what ever format wins the next gen movie format (only for movie playback) and HDMI output. They also say Nintendo are thinking about re designing the DS again!! Damn can anybody not see that nintendo is taking its customers for a ride?

Nintendo is really taking anybody for a ride. They are merely using the Wii as testing waters basically for their new controller. Now that they see there is a market for this controller they will redefine the Wii and make it what the customers really want. Better graphics, HD, HDMI, and of course a better motion sensor controller. I think the next Wii could dominate the market.

For sure. I agree with Lethal. If they can get the sensor 100% and then add good graphics and games, what else is there really? It would be awesome.

Come on, have you ever played SSBM? I only keep my gamecube for that game. One can only hope that Brawl is even half as good as Melee. The day its released, im going out to buy a wii and the game, so I can stop borrowing my friends (Which is only good to me) to virtually abuse my little cousins at wii boxing.

Disaster looks amazing for what little they have shown of it... and what's with the bashing of 3rd party games, Super Paper Mario was great, and there are a lot of 3rd party games coming out that look great. And the Wii can pull of gorgeous graphics, look at Sonic and the Secret Rings! It's mostly gorgeous level design and environments but when it's that luscious you don't really pay attention to how many pixels are there... then again you blast past them at like 5 billion miles per hour, but that's not the point...

Sonic looks good because it uses a lot of bright colors and nothing realistic. Its not saying much when your game of choice to show off the Wii's graphics is a 3rd party game called Sonic. Any game can look good when your zipping through the scenery and not stopping to really look how bad it looks. The only games that are any good are Zelda TP and Resident Evil 4........Arent those on the gamecube too with the same exact graphics? You want to see what the Wii is really like then play Far Cry, COD3, Spiderman 3, or Tiger Woods. Those games will make you want bash your head in with your Wiimote and pour salt in your eyes.
