i played it on the original xbox it was good but you need xbl to get the most out of it.

It is a pretty good game Id say. I was really into it for a while. If you dont play it online, then you arent playing it :p. I think the new one will be real good.

Yeah its fun! Here's why:
Campaign has a good story to it and fun/challenging to play to get 5 stars in each mission.
Online is great because nobody talks, so you don't have to listen to a bunch of lame jokes from underage kids. But those kids always spawn camp so it sucks.

The weapons are pretty advanced for warfare, the online maps are very well balanced, but as usual on 3/4 maps are ALWAYS played.

Helicopters, tanks, dune buggies, hummers, crappy old pickups plus a C4 attached make for great suicide bombings

another game no-one has really played is viva pinata i really would recommened this game it really does Rock! seriously if you havent played it you need to go try it out.

Talking is a bonus and a curse. In Battlefield its run for your life kill who you can so to me talking isn't a big deal. If you do intiate converstion no one tries to strategize, unless its a clan match or your friends. What I get is dumb Borat jokes/impressions or the classic high pitch squeals of "your mom said....". Talking in Gears is great if you have mature players on your team or someone from your own country you can understand. Too bad you can't play with your friends anymore.
