if i had saw this first i would have gone this way,
right ive just happened accross this and im seriously considering selling my psp for one of THESE (http://www.gp2x.co.uk/)

anyone touched and messed with one of these??
im saying, a linux based handheld??

DIFFERENTLY its a possability for people like me who own 2.7 psp's to run all there homebrew on this, although a few people know im not into having like 3-4 different handhelds...

ANYWAY peoples opinions please

if you only wanted a PSP for homebrew then get that but if you want to enjoy comercial games then dont bother with it

Read that thread. Its a neat little device. But I wouldn't sell my psp to get one.

Those things suck. If it was a PSP killer I would have bought like 2 or 3 of them by now.

If you have a 2.7 and above or a TA-082 motherboard on your PSP then sell it.

If not, then downgrade and get a 1.5. A 1.5 PSP is now wayyyy more better.

yeah reading up i think im gonna leave it.
it looks like a cool lil handheld but i use the internet browser way too much to ditch the psp.
if it had wifi i think i may have gone for it though!
i was also looking at the gp32, i think i know someone who would love it and it aint all that expensive looking around

It's not a bad handheld, but the PSP is about to have the N64 running at full speed! The PSP has soo much potential, and has Wifi abilities, which opens many opportunities for some great homebrew.

Personally I don't use my PSP anymore. But this doesn't seem like an alternative. It seems more of a budget PSP.

No decent games, too big and clunky to carry around everywhere. Use my xbox for playing roms/homebrew.

and may i ask why they are collecting dust guys?Yeah.I still play some SNES on the road sometimes, but I mostly use my PMP for music/movies.
