My xbox will play all games, except Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas.
It says something like " This is not a valid disc, please make sure it is a valid xbox game or movie".
It plays other games just fine. Why would it do that? Do I need to open it up and clean it or something?
Please Help!

No problem. That is the only thing that I thought could be possibly wrong with it.

I hope so. It runs loud, and it freezes sometimes, I think it might be dirty inside
That xbox shouldnt be dirty at all. I opened it and cleaned it before shipping it out. I tested over 50 games on it. I didnt have GTA so... I don't know what the problem could be. The outside might be a little less than spectacular, but the inside should be spotless.

This seems to be a problem with GTA:SA for both x-box, and ps2.
It may sound weird, but it might have something to do with how often you've played DVDs in your system.

well if it didn't work on his xbox either it must be the disc, you shouldn't have any problems returning it unless there's a heavy scratch on the disc

There is no scratches or anything, they should return it, I hope.
When I was there, that was the last copy in the clearance bin, I hope they have another.
That's why it didnt work. You didnt pay enough for it lol.

You should just softmod your xbox. Instead of buying gta buy an action replay.

Unless they have a AR in the clerance bin then I know I wouldn't get it...unless I really wanted it. Eh if you softmod your xbox make sure you know exactly what your doing! And goodluck on the GTA thing. Never heard it doing that before though. Besides he would still need to buy one of the capable games that allows softmoding.

Softmods are a WASTE.
Espically since I play on XBL.
If I was going to mod, Id throw in a Xeucuter 3.2 lite or something, I had one of those in my old xbox that I sold a year ago to Raiz, you could turn the chip on and off from the front, so I could go on XBL.

I know how a mod works.
And how can you play on XBL with a soft mod?

I was just always told if you softmod it, you'd get banned from XBL.

I never did. I softmod halo 2 and I only got banned from matchmaking. That was only because I modded halo 2 maps. I have never been banned by microsoft that I am aware of. Here is the link to the best softmod out right now.
