People are thinking the PS3's are going to be like the 360's at launch, they were selling for $1000 on launch on ebay.

People need to realized that everyone is going to be selling them on ebay. With such a low demand, and a high stock, you wont profit.

In 'Stuff' magazine here in the UK, it says that the 60gig version is the only one coming out here, and that only Japan and America will get a choice. I dont mind either way cos Im gettin the 60gig on launch date :)

Apparently the difference between the 20 and 60 gig versions is more than just drive size. The 60 gig is supposedly better feature-wise.

It doesn't matter if there is a large supply. They WILL run out in the holiday season, it happens with everything. Hell, There were a huge supply of Nintendo DS when it launched but if you didn't buy it in it's launch period and waited till December. Good Fucking Luck. The prices on ebay may not soar as high as $5000 as some 360s went for it. But I'm betting people will atleast get $1000. It happens with every launch. It will happen with PS3, it's a worldwide release there will NOT be enough to meet demand.

Sony needed an excuse for getting rid of rumble rather than saying "We got sued.. LOLZ". They didn't rip off Nintendo, but it's a cheap gimmick that close to no games will use just like the button-sensitivity that was added in Dual Shock 2.

I personally think that ps3 will be dumb. Not many titles are coming out that fit my fancy. The only title that the ps3 has that i like is Socom. Im purchasing an xbox 360 today. I figured since grand theft auto IV will launch for xbox 360 aswell as the ps3. Xbox has Halo 3 which is a must have. No doubt the ps3 has amazing features but i feel features on systems get overshadowed. Xbox live will most likely never get beat. I will have to see though on launch is ps3 is actually worth it. If it is you can count me in for buying one.

So far the only difference between the 20 GB and 60 GB is HD size and Lack of HDMI support, everything else will be upgradeable like the 60 gb.

Im still getting my 60gb tho, but who ever gets a 20gb isnt missing out on much, esp if they dont have or plan to have a hd tv.

20 gb can be upgraded, so yes stock the 60gb has more but the 20gb can be upgraded, only thing they cant change is the HD port.

I am not going to buy one in the first place. The shit that sony is doing to limit their media is rediculous. A month ago i would have loved to get a PS3. but now that no one can rent, sell, or play/watch friends movies/games totally turns me away from buying one. Sure the graphics lood badass, the games look fun and everything... but these new restrictions that are appearing are annoying.

not to mention $600 is too much, even for a powerful system like the PS3. id say $400 would get more interest in sales volume.

The whole thing about game licenses is more confusion and assumption than fact, as for the Price $600 is cheap for what your getting, Its beyond just a gaming system.

If Hanzo is doing what I think he's doing then he should be making nice profit off those extra systems.

Everyone would love a price cut but doing so would mean gutting the PS3 as the system we are waiting for now, Maybe they can sell a core system that just does the essentials. I wish Systems had Decals like cars... PS3 Luxury Edition. =P
